How much do you gain with longtubes & offroad midpipe?

Me and a buddy dyno'ed our cars on the same day. Our cars are 94-95 Cobras with the same mods except for exhaust. He had longtubes and offroad x-pipe. I had stock headers and Catted Bassani x-pipe. He dyno'ed at 272hp/315tq vs. my 242hp/285tq. Is that really what longtubes and offroad x-pipe is worth?!! I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes.

Thats a pretty nice gain over yours... I know I dropped 3/10's off my ET with my LT's and O/R h pipe so the LT's and O/R pipe might be worth it

i know when i put my lt's and o/r hpipe from shorties and o/r hpipe there was a noticable gain. i think it was worth it just for the sound but there is a bit more grunt in it and i know once the exhaust leak goes away (yeah right) ill be able to get some of that stupid power back

I could not say about the off road pipe as I've never had one. I have seen some say that loosing the cats gave them between 1 to 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile.

LT's really help the torque starting at the mid range rpms on street cars cause the longer tubes pull the spent gas away better than shortys.

I would say that your stock exhaust exhaust manifolds are hurting you more than having the cats.

Of cource, it you go to lt's your nice cat pipe won't work unless you have it modified.

I have a pipe like yours and it really is a quality part.

I have LTs and an o/r X pipe and notice a real nice extra mid to upper RPM pull. I have to say that under 2500 it doesnt pull too well though because my exhaust flows too much for my engine.
