With the exhaust mods you have I wouldn't doubt about a 20 horsepower gain, alot of people on here have gained good power with just that intake.

The Performer gives quite a kick in the pants over stock.

Listen man, I dont know what gears you have but I had exhaust and 3:55 ONLY and I ran a 1.79 60' with BFG Drag radials, and I wasnt even launching like I wanted too. You dont need an intake to do 2.0 60' , just good tires.

Wow, your time pisses me off.

I have cold air, pro flow 75 mm, 3:73's, off road h, flowmaster catback, aode hardcore rebuild with shift kit, 180 tstat, ud pullies, k & n,

i probably run slower than you with that many mods...is my aode killing me?

sorry to hijack the thread but I ran around 9.6 without offroad pipe, pullies, cold air and pro flow...

then again the motor has 140K on it...

My car only has 90k on the motor, but its stayed stock by its previous owner till 80k
but I would say you need a lower gear like a 4.10 or 4.30. And a good stall, I say you can easly run a 8.90 on a et

A intake will not drop your 60 foot. You have to just leave harder.

Why wouldnt a intake lower my 60, more flow=more hp=going through the rpms faster=better times

I'm no expert but the greatest factor affecting your 60' time is TRACTION! Good traction is achieved through slicks or DRs, suspension, weight transfer, and driver skill.

Like said, the intake will not lower your sixty. It may even make it worse. More power=less traction=higher sixty. Sticky tires are going to do alot more for your sixty foot time.

A Pair of 555 DR's will do the trick, but you MUST smoke em' up to get the traction.
