how much money for a dual exhaust??

Im getting alot of different answers for this... first off im gettin 2 new pipes from the cats back 2.25in then 2 flowmaster 40's I hear I also should get a H pipe... soo around how much will I be spending on this. I have a 2000 V6 stang. thanks in advance

You should spend between 300-500 max. Some shops think they are something special. Others don't.

P.s. i could have ranted about using the search button; but, since my reply was so short neways, I figured who cares?

I spent 334 with tax at a local shop flowmaster 40 2.25 pipes stainless steel with the tips

Its sad how this guy can post the exact same answer in 2 different threads (well not exact same answer but close enough) and it be legit. Just goes to show you what the search button could do for all of us

the v6 does not need any sort of h pipe so you dont need one. i would pay 300 bucks give or take 50 for a total custom 2.25 pipeing in stainless steel add on a little more for good tips. (stainless steel)

the only purpose an H or X pipe will serve is a louder exhaust.

i think he just ment an H or X keeping the stock cats, if so it will make it alot quieter at idle, wont really change the sound. if you mean and X or H with no cats... it will just be loud and ricy sounding.
