how much power for t-5?

I was wondering how much hp can a t-5 handle? The new motor I am getting is going to be pushing around 400-450 hp to the crank if not alittle more. I will be driving this daily and don't plan on pushing it to hard. And I also have 3.08 gears if that help to.

IMO no powershifting and it should last. Start tapping into that HP and it wont be long for this world.

i have 450+ rwhp (when my car runs) and i have a t-5 it's lasted about 3,000 miles so far. no problems so far what so ever but i think its a ticking time bomb...sooner or later something is going to happen to it.. but, i think as long as i keep fluid in it and keep it cool i shouldnt have too many problems seeing how i dont powershift (dont know how to) and i dont do alot of gear grinding
hopefully it holds up

You never know!!! I had mine for about 10K with 300rwhp and i split the main shaft. Some people bust them with just bolt ons. And some people run 400rwhp through them and do fine. They are a quandry wrapped in an enigma.
