How Much RWHP?

Stated above is true!

But remember. Big boost doesn't break Mustang pistons, poor tuning and lack or fuel does!

Don't skimp on your fuel system dude! My 96 4.6L DOHC has been makine 414RWHP for 5 years now!!!! No trouble.

Get a good tune when the blower in done. 400RWHP on a 2V is sick!! They pull hard. That's why I put on in my 81 Notch.

400 seems about right. I have heard some pushing just above 400 with stock internals but that's pushing the limit on the stock parts. Also the tune is critical

it depends a lot on boost levels too. you can make 370rwhp on 14psi and blow the motor. or you can make 400rwhp on 8psi and it will be fine. but a good tune, and a nice fuel system and 400rwhp can get you years of fun.

I've always heard 420/425 is the ceiling recommendation on stock rods. Many have gone over (even 520rwhp) w/out problems, many have been under with problems. Depends on tune and fuel like stated above, but also the FI delivery. Turbo is least amount of strain, then centri and then positive placement superchargers. All of which should use a intercooler if you want to see 390+ with no problems

I have a 03 Cobra Fuel pumps and Tank with ford Racing 42lb injectors. I also have bbk long tube headers with a off road x-pipe, Accufab 75mm throttle body and upper intake. Dose the fuel system seem up to par for 400rwhp? I am going to have Jonny lightning Performance tune it. (close to home) Thanks for the info!:nice:

you will be very safe with the fuel system at 400 hp!
