how much should I mill the heads to go from 64cc to 54cc?

well...as much as I preach to do things right the first time...its time to bite my tounge...I have an oil leak from one of my heads...I purchsed them used and didn't bother to flat mill them...and now one of them is leaking oil from underneath the head gasket...no oil is getting into my cooling...So now I don't know if its because I didn't clean the area right...or because infact they needed to be milled...Oh well...it was the first car I ever did work to for the first time...If I'm gonna take the heads off and get them flat milled...I might as well mill them to raise my compression...does anyone know how much I have to mill heads that are 64cc to get to 54cc? NOW...would I also have to correct the intake side of the heads so my intake isn't offset?...the heads are ported...and so is the intake...slightly smaller than the 1262 gasket the heads take...anyone know how much milling costs on avg.?...this s*it never ends...

GT-40X heads and GT-40 intake...

ALSO...is milling the heads going to influence the size pushrod I will need to run...on stud mount rockers? I don't think it would since they should self adjust...I am thinking having the heads machined to studs as well...currently the are pedistal and setting up rocker arm geometry is PITA!!!...

Typically I believe .006" milled = 1 cc. So your looking at .060". I don't even know if those heads could go that much. If so, you'll be milling the lower intake to match as thats a pretty huge jump. Your looking at around $100 to mill + like $25 to cc 1 chamber.

Now, why are you trying to acheive 54cc? Could could very well end up with p to v issues. Yes, that much of a mill cam probably effect pushrod size. The checker tool is $12 from summit and you'll need to make your own solid lifter.
