How much should I pay for a 2.3t engine

too much, 350 with turbo is still a stretch but its a TURBO motor. Selling the turbo seperate is like selling a 5.0 with only one head. It needs the turbo to run, its part of the motor, they should include in the motor price.

BTW i paid ~250 for mine with all front accesorys, turbo (although it was bad) computer, intake and all the wiring. The Ex manifold was missing on mine.

Well price is relevant to availability and depending where you live.
If you paid less somewhere else but had to ship it then you are right back up there in price.
Where I am $350 would be fair if it had good comp and didn't need pulling apart but the turbo would be another matter.
If there is nothing else around make an offer.
Worst they can say is no or meet you half way.

location and availibilty is a good sized factor, but at the same time for 500$ if you look, you can find a beater turbocoupe and have the entire car for as long as you want to pull whenever. If i were you i would keep looking unless that motor is "pristine" or you can talk the price down. Mine was ~275 with a turbo , mind you i pulled it aswell.
