How much Tranny Fluid for my 88 AOD??

How many quarts of tranny fluid do i need for my AOD, i lost it all!!!!!

Usually when you do a full trans service, replacing the filter, draining the convertor (if its stock), it takes around 11 quarts.

how did you loose it all.. remember the torque conveter holds a couple so if that isn't empty it won't hold 11 ish

The plug or nut that connects the transmission line to the radiator is shot, its just gushing out. Im not sure how much i lost but i lost a lot!

If you simply going to top it off then I would add some so it's at the least up on the dip stick and bring it up to temp and follow the check procedure then add a little at a time until full. If you over fill it just remove the dust cover on the front of the tranny and pull the plug on the torque converter. only takes a few minutes.
