How much would you pay for this 69 mustang? need advise

I'd say around 10k mostly for the restoration work. It decodes to just a basic trim 6 cylinder. The mods are never worth what they cost, as I'm sure you already know. Seems to be a nice car overall, but if it had cracked shock towers before I would stay away. Those take some special work to repair correctly and there are too many other cars to choose from that you don't have to worry about that.

(Sorry no joke)
I was hoping to jar someone’s memory that has one that works better than mine.
Those photos look familiar from one of the boards. But I can’t remember where. I would check it out before I spend any money.

Hold on. Why would the engine compartment and body be as nice as they are as well as the interior, but have cracked shock towers? If someone is going to invest time and money to get the car looking as nice as it does why would they leave it with cracked shock towers? Just a sudden thought.

I doubt they would.... the only plausible scenario for that happening would be that it happened AFTER the restoration. I mean look at what he claims was done...and based on the pics there's not much reason to doubt him. I can't see anyone doing all that work and leaving cracks in the shock towers.

i'd stay away from this one, it was originally a six banger with four lug wheels and it still has them on the front along with the six banger drums, no telling what else was done half ass on this car.

Didn't notice that...that's a damn good point though. I don't understand why they'd do all that suspension they claim and not upgrade it to 5 lug.
