How rare was the red interior in the 94-95 cars

Yeah, that was me. I don't know any production numbers on the PR interior, but you don't see alot of them.

This is one of the best pictures I have of the interior. It was taken on the second day I owned the car when it was completely stock (down to the intake silencer and tri-bars).

The Porno Red interior is definitely a love it or hate it. I wasn't sure about it when I first bought the car, but I definitely LOVE IT now.

The first time I took my friend Norah for a ride in it, she made a comment about not liking the red interior. So I stopped the car, launched hard, and chirped 2nd. She decided that the color was OK then.

i agree but i would change the cloth on the seats and i dont know if there is somtething wrong with the carpet or not but i could live with it

My 95 GTS has the PR, I like the dash and console but the red seats with the red carpet is a little over kill

That's baffling. Just by sheer probability, in all the stangs you've owned, you should have had one of every option and configuration out there.

Personally I think the dash looks pretty cool, but the carpet and seats make me sick. Just me.

My quest for porno red interior is now over for the most part. I have found a 6 banger with red interior and is willing to swap me. All I need now is red GT seats.

Friend has the red interior in his '94...I haven't decided if I like it or not. But he got a great deal on the car overall so it doesn't matter...

i have the red interior and i like it i dont see it anywhere... my plans are black carpet black colum wheel and air bag and the seats will have the same pattern in the centers with the red and all the surrounding will be black its gonna look sick!!!

yeah everyone i show my car too is like wow i have never seen red interiors in these ...at first i was so so about it now i wont change it and i think once i paint it black it will be really pimp with some tint and what not...


oh and theres a girl over at sn95forums that has a leather red interior and i believe its a vert i will look

There was/is a silver vert around here with red innards. Always was kinda shocked by that combo but I would have it. I am looking for cloth seats. If you find any let me know.

I think all the red would look better matched with white trim on a white car (good luck getting it all together though). Red detailing in the engine bay, brake calipers ect

The black makes it all look too heavy if that makes sense

I may wash my motor off is about it. The dirt maybe holding it together though.

I am more into the cloth. Got leather in my 02 and hate it. I was really considering selling the 95 for a ls1 car before this, but now taint(its name) is staying.

yeah i like cloth myself too i hate nothing more then a hot summer day and sticking to a leather seat ....i will keep my eyes open for gt red cloth seats

and the red interior in the vert was for someone else that asked earlier if it was ever made....

I sent 5.0rest an email about 94+cloth and this is what I got from two different people

This is from our R&D guru.

Not yet. Foam needs to be done first as the OE upholstery is glued to the foam. You pretty well ruin the foam when you replace upholstery. That’s why upholstery shops charge so much to install it.

We have placed a request to our manufacturer about cloth for the SN95 cars about 6 months ago, but do not know when they might try to get started on these.
