A Stang? I'm not your average 26yr old either. I have nothing to prove to anybody nor do I want to, other than maybe myself.

For me it's about working toward things that I really want. And yea, I know a dozen ricers, and their all the same. Believe me, I get it all the time that "I could give you your ass with my so n so car against a stang." My genereal response is "I don't give a crap thats not why I want it. I'm not out to have the badest car on the road or beat someones ass in a race." Their general response is. "oh, then why do you want it?" "Its the car that I want next, not what everyone else thinks I should get"

So what qualifies me to have a muscle car? It's simple. Its my work and hard earned money that will get me the car of my choice

If your not looking for the fastest badest car out of Detroit, you'll love the Mustang. Its very quick for the price, handels fantastically. I have the 5 spd auto, and I must say its the best auto I have ever driven. Gear ratios are good as well. Looks are better to me than anything else Detroit has out there. Ride is the best a Mustang ever had, a tad stiff, but not uncomfortable. I dont think you will be disapointed if oyu chose to buy one.
Oh and the insurance was 198 a year over my old Monte Carlo.

well i go both ways! seriously tho, i dont really care ford/chevy/dodge, if its a cool car then its a cool car. as far as foreign cars, i like pre 2000 benzes, especially the s600s and the old big dog turbo cars, old 300zx TT, toyota supra TT rx7 tt. other than that i hate foreign cars. especially hondas. i have the mustang, and a 1999 gmc yukon, all modded out, headers exhaust tvs etc.. with 190,000 miles on it, original engine and trans. and i beat the piss out of it! so i dunno about auto trans only lasting 100k. HOWEVER if u get the mustang, you have to get stick. you will regret it if you dont. i live in manhattan, and manage apartment buildings in all the 5 boros, and drive the stang everyday, usually 100 miles. a lot of it in traffic. stick in traffic doesnt bother me at all, and if you know how to drive stick, and dont sit with the clutch pushed in all the way, it will last a long time. BTW, when i was thinking of buying my stang, i was between that and a 02 black black t/a ws6. the t/a is faster, but it just doesnt feel the same. one thing with the stang is it only felt fast enough for like 2 months. but that will be solved with the blower. good luck! and get black/black

Shawn your just too much fun to play with. For you to not bat an eye at my digs is quite nice, I was trying to get a raise out of you and you just rolled with it. Nice job!
