How restrictive is the Cobra intake?

I'm putting in a 351W and am looking into possibly (possibly) using a 351 GT40 lower with my current Cobra upper in my attempt to clear the stock hood. How badly will this limit my power potential if I choose this route?

High compression forged pistons
