how safe is nitrous

just wondering how safe is nitrous. i was thinking about a 75 dry shot zek system. i saw alot of youtube videos of backfires, fires, and explosion just wanted to know how safe nitrous really is

a 75 shot is safe u just need all the other things it needs to make it safe. i ran a wet 125 shot . i would not run it with a stock fuel pump or reg

i have a 190 pump and aeromotive reg. whats the long term engine ware with a 75 shot

If you install it RIGHT, nitrous can be very safe. Engine wear is no higher with a properly installed nitrous system than it would be for a supercharger or turbo producing the same increase in power. If anything, it might even be easier on your engine, considering the cooling effect that it produces and that it is not always operating.

A 75 shot is pretty mild, so do your homework and install all the supporting mods, and I imagine you'll enjoy a reliable performance increase.

Yes.... dont get the 80's comments..lol !! The Spray is the fastest and easiest HP builder out there!! You will love it!! All the fire and explosions you see are from guys NOT following the basic rules from their kits!! The engine wear is less than a blower or SC as the boost isnt always on!! Follow the instructions from the kit.. dont try and short cut... and you will love it!!

I ran a 250 shot for 5 years on a daily driver and thru a bunch of sat night engagements!! LOL
