should i put the exhaust line with cat and the mufflers?

the line without the muffler but i keep the cat?

You want to leave the cats and put some sort of performance mufflers on .. If your plan is to do dual exhaust then you want some sort of crossover pipe either H or X. Failure to put the crossover pipe in will cause the fart can affect.

I'm going to side with ChrisNY. I had "true duals" and it sounded horrible. I added a Basanni x-pipe and it's 1000% better IMO...

ok, so now it's done! i can't really say that i love the sound.

it sounds like a old cavalier v6 :damnit:

i got the full exhaust line from the gt, i kept the mufflers but i think i will take'em off. when we tried it, the sound was better. ok, much louder but better.

if it's not again like i want, i will put maybe an x pipe of h pipe with magnaflow exhaust. we'll see

I'm looking into an H pipe, I hear it gives the car a deeper growl.

MSP,

I havent forgot our conversation, been kinda busy lately. But I'm looking to go true duals w/H pipe, all custom. I'll keep you posted and get a sound clip.

Later.

Yea fine is subjective .. but I know what I heard and before the crossover was put in ..

It sounded like horse crap .. If you have it and like it more power to you .. but with the FM 40 series it sounded like utter *****

It probably sounds fine, but you're missing out on HP by not having some sort of crossover.

Right now I'm holding the magnaflow X-pipe in my hand, and just waiting on the 40 series to arrive. They should be installed tuesday. I can't wait to see how my car does with the Steeda CAI, SCT Tune, and the Dual xpipe exhaust .
