Back to the spark #4 spark plug....yep.....it is a biyaaaitch to get that mother in there with the EGR tube in the way. As mentioned before, definately need a sparkplug socket, try different extensions/swivel combinations. Vacuum hose attached to the plug is another good idea someone mentioned.
I usually have a difficult time getting the spark wire firmly attached on the number 4 plug as well........stupid EGR tube.
Oh yeah, one more thing, you have to use "The Force" to get it started. Have a look at the other plugs and study the angle that they enter the heads. Now "visualize" the angle that you need to place the plug in to get it started....sounds goofy, but it works for me on those bolts that need to go in hard to reach places.
