Hi,
I recently bought a 1994 Ford Mustang Convertible, but noticed afterwards that the passenger side doesn't mate all the way up so the seal touches properly--see picture 1. There is a gap and I notice the latch area was marred up (see pic 2)a bit to force the top latch. I have watched videos and looked over postings but have not figured out how to make the adjustments to get it to how it ought to be. Does anyone have instruction/guidance that can help me get this right? Thanks, Dustin

The latch is not missing the hole--it grabs on but is very hard to pull tight. Here are some more pics of the side that is not mating up so the sealer strip keeps the window sealed--see that there is a gap between the seal windshield and windo.

So I got it fixed. The dowel on the passenger side was not extending far enough. I used the posted instructions to extend the top forward on the passenger side by removing the set screw and extending forward toward the front of the car. One I got the dowels centered, I tighten the latch (remove set screw and wind in. I had the pull on the seal a bit to stretch it, but now everything looks good (see picture).
