ok, i'm not the most mechanically inclined. i just installed a hurst line lock and all i have left to do is bleed the brakes and i am not sure exactly what to do. i bought a brake bleeding kit from pep boys but the instructions are very vague.i need help

In a nutshell, start from the furthest corner from the master cylinder (pass. rear) and work towards the master cylinder.
Have a little bottle with some brake fluid in it and a short section of tubing (to fit over the bleed screw). Keep the bottle end in the fluid so it is "sealed" and any air bubbles will be visible during bleeding.
Have a buddy pump the brakes three or four times and hold the pedal, open the bleed screw until the pedal heads toward the floor, close the screw, refill the master cylinder, repeat until clear brake fluid comes out.
Don't forget the two bleed screws on the engine side of the m/c, too. Do not let the m/c run dry.
You will need 3 or 4 pints of brake fluid, Ford Heavy Duty is inexpensive and high quality (it is the truth!!).
