You've gotta stick to that 500 mile rule of thumb. I have a friend who bought a CF duel friction and they told him specifically to do the 500 mile break in, so he took it out that weekend and raced....and burned it up. He sent it back to be replaced under warrantee and they denied him. They're no dumbies, they know what a burned clutch looks like that hasnt been broken in.
sure that's not a FRP clutch, but i wouldnt doubt it's the same with their warantee
I did my clutch and trany for 500 miles as recommended by the manufacturers, but you can bet your @ss i slammed the pee out of every gear after about 600 miles or so. i was a little long on the break in 'cause i was tight on cash and couldnt get my synchromesh.
