My daughter's '91 4 cylinder LX has a check engine light and has started rattling the values when the engine is under a moderate load. How do I check the codes in the ECM? I have a parts car that I can get parts from if I can figure out what I need. The last car I had that rattled this way was a '84 Buick Regal with a bad O2 Sensor. It caused the ECM to go full lean. This car had a computer Qjet. I pulled the codes and had to put an O2 sensor in it. Problem fixed. Hopefully the Stang has a similar problem.
