So far this hard start issue has gotten nowhere fast, last time I posted the only suggestion was regarding the Fuel pressue regulator.
Well after talking to a couple shop owners, they have informed me that most fuel parts failures are not related to temperature, meaning my car would start like crap always, not just when warmed up.
Does this make sense?
So eliminated the theory of FPR issues, I was told that electrical problems are more sensitive to heat, and may be the culpret to my hard starts.
I was told to check the Ignotion module or coil, which might be producing weak spark and ultimitely hard starts.
So, does anyone agree with this advice? How do I best check these parts? I was told to let the car run, then after shutdown feel the coil to see if it is warmer than it should be.
Any help would be appreciated guys, without a working car I can not afford to stay in college.
