How to check for spark?

Is there a way to check to see if each spark plug is getting spark or getting a strong enough spark? Any special tools used for this or just take the plug out, put it in the wire, and touch it to a nice around and look for a nice blue spark? (thats how we do it on the golf carts at work)

That's what I'd do.

I'll probably try that tonight... My dad told me to pull the plug wire off of the distributer cap and see if it changes anything... Most would make the car want to stall, but there was 2 or 3 that didnt make much of a difference.

Would not having a strong enough spark cause my engine to shake badly? And no its not my balancer.

Yes very possibly, because it will in effect throw your engine off balance.
