How to dispose of a car

As many of you know i have an extra shell from my old fox just sitting their, what would be the best way to dispose of it, some towers are trying to charge me 100-500 to remove it:bs: so what can i do to get rid of it, can i just chop it up and throw it away? and if i do that how do i let the state know so its no longer in my name

Termite wouldn't really blow it up so much as turn it into a puddle of molten slag ... which is just about as awesome, anyhow. :D

I think there's a form at the DMV you can get to take your name off a vehicle and register it as junked or something along those lines. I know they have a "Notice of Sale" or "Notice of Title Transfer" or something like that, and somewhere on there might be a box you can check as "Inoperable" or "Junk" or whatever. Maybe poke around your state's website and see if they have any details like that.

trust me enough thermite compressed into a container along with other combustibles makes a very very awesome explosion

when i was trying to get rid of an old convertible shell i had, same thing happened to me, everyone wanted to charge me to haul it off even though i said they could have it for free, and especially since it was smashed with no drivetrain. i just kept calling yards til someone said they'd take it for free.

See if they have anyone in Hollywood making some kinda action flick for which they require some cars to destroy. They could make some fake body panels out of cardboard or whatever to replace the ones that are missing and then blow up or smash the thing. They get a free car to destroy, and you get to see your ride having a grand finale send-off immortalized on film. :nice:

Either that, or just dump it in a really bad neighborhood, report it as stolen, and then claim it was stolen and stripped. :D

(Sorry, I suck when it comes to giving legitimate advice on these things. )
