After my runs at the track I've been thinking of everything I can try to figure out what is wrong with my car.. I've never done a compression test and I was wondering how hard it is and if anyone here can tell me how?

the search function is your best friend when it comes to these things. There's many threads that discuss it, and you'll get the information you need a lot faster than waiting for people to reply. You can do it yourself, you'll just need a friend to watch the gauge.

:stupid:

You don't always need another person to do it. I guess it depends on what kind of tester you get. Some will hold the pressure and only release when you hit the button.

Also, some testers come with a remote starter switch to make it easier.

And when you do it, do a dry test and then wet - the comparison can be revealing.

Hot motor, pull all plugs, prop throttle Wide open, disable ignition and/or fuel and test away. It can be smart to have a battery charger connected so it keeps cranking strong for equal results.

That's a horridly simple version - when you search you'll find much more detail. :nice:

Good luck.
