How to get group purchases going with FR rack& pinion????

I see there is a great interest here with the flamming river rack & pinion conversion.

I was curious to see if anyone had any contacts with a distriburator that would be interested in helping us out if we managed to gather enough people to buy the package.

Myself I would be intersted on the complete kit with tilt column for granada front brakes.

Best price I found so far has been 1,150 to my house.

Somewhere I read that a group of people did a group purchase and recieved them for 1,000. If this is so I would definatly buy one.

Sounds like a good idea, just depends on the price for me. I looked into it, but what makes me mad is that I could buy a complete mustang 11 front with control arms, spindles, coilovers, crossmember, disc brakes and rack and pinion for around two grand, but just to get a rack and pinion alone from somewhere is like 1200 or more.
