Hello Everyone,
I was thinking about lowering my 01 GT convertible. I live in an area with a lot of pot holes and I'm concerned about bottoming out.
What is the easiest/most inexpensive way to go about this?
Is it safe with all those pot holes out there?
And lastly, my current shocks and struts are in good shape. Can the springs be cut?
Thanks everyone!

FRPP 'B' springs with new rubber isolators will give you a nice stance but not so low you'll beat the crap out of your car and back. Get new name brand non-adjustable shocks and struts, and you'll be set. If you need installation help, we can help out there as well. It's a fairly simple job if you have a floor jack, jack stands, and some basic hand tools.

Edit: Read again and saw you said your shocks/struts are good. Just get springs and start swapping! It's a good time to also check out your ball joints, inner/outer tie rods, steering rack bushings, etc.
