the title about explains it all. how do u go about doing this with out getting extra long studs? i wouldnt trust too much power behind really long studs. unless im just being paranoid about that.

has anyone else done it?

what size tire would u need also?

depends on the year of the stang... some have deeper wheel wells than others... might need longer studs, wheel spacers come in handy sometimes... and i'd imagine you'd need 315 or wider tire... i have 9" wides on tha back with 275's... good luck

Not quite sure... I don't know how much tha wells changed from '86 to '87... i do know that the wells in '87s to '89s (like i have) were smaller than the newer year foxes... i had a small problem with my 275s rubbin... but a set of 1/4" spacers on tha back took care of that

I thought the inner fender difference between older/newer foxes was just the front? I might be wrong...

I would also think you couldn't run tailpipes (at least not standard aftermarket catbacks) with 315s, considering how close it sits to my 245s as is.

I have the 10.5 with 285's on the rear of my 89 hatch, i had to take off the quad shocks and beat on the inner well with a 3 pound sledge to stop them from rubbing the inside then i got 5/16 spacers and they would rub on the fender, took the grinder to the fender lip and groung off almost a 1/4 inch, haven't had them rub since
