How to port my heads,intakes by myself

anyone got any info on how to port intakes ,heads and can you port a tb? i would like to port myself so i dont have to spend alot of money having it done.

Porting like what your talking about isnt something someone can teach you in a forum thread. I suggest you buy some books and or take a class, which then defeats the point since your trying to save money.

Basically, there is no way around the money issue unless you already have ALOT of knowledge. The faster you want to go, the more it will cost.

There is also the risk of destroying a good set of heads very quickly if you do not understand exactly what you are doing.

This place sells a DVD on porting E7 heads.It`s a little pricey at $49.95,but likely shows excellent professional work.

The Best way to learn is by going to the junkyard and buying a set of old useless heads, and practiceing on those till you think your good enough to do the good set of heads, at least that's how my friend learned.

ok thanksfor the replys, now what about porting intakes? is that somthing thats easier to do?
