How to prepare for Subframe install???

I am getting subframes, abd what to do the interior preparation myself. What steps should I do. I know I need to pull back the carpet. How is this done? Anything else I need to do???

Are u getting new subframes, or subframe connecters?? there isnt really anything interior wise u have to do to install the connecters. I got the weld in ones, not the bolt in's. good luck..

You should not have to do anything. If the installer knows what he is doing he will only weld a little at a time. So there should not be enough heat to actually burn the carpet. Also make sure they use a drive on lift(or ramps at all corners) and make sure that they unhook the negative battery cable.

I didn't pull my interior when we installed my M&M full-lengths. A good welder won't burn through or get it so hot that the carpet is in danger. Like said above, the welder should move around, do a little here, alittle over there, etc... Like yellow2kgt siad make absolutely sure that the suspension is loaded when you do the install.
