Ok, I'm going to the track one more time before I end up getting my BFG drag radials for Christmas. I have Khumo 712s on the car right now and the best 60 ft I ever did was when I was stock. It was a 2.269. The other night including all of my mods I could only muster a damn 2.408. Now, I have an auto so I can only powerbrake to about 1500 rpms or so until my tires start to break loose. My question is, how in the hell are some of you guys pulling 2.0 60 ft's on street tires!!!!!!!!!! Even Khumos!!!!! What is your technique? Do you do a long or small burnout, no burnout. No powerbraking? What psi on front and rears? What's the key to the 2.0s? I need to know!!!!!
My procedure is to skip the waterbox, do a 2-3 second burnout just to clean the tires off, and then powerbrake to 1500 rpms. After that, I just wait until the 3rd yellow and moderately (not too slow and not too fast) give gas until I feel full grip and punch it.

but it's all in fun
