I bought the car with some cheapy flame decals on it and I want them off. After calling around, the cheapest quote I received from a body shop was $200to remove them. Is there a way to remove them yourself? I've heard that there is a chemical that basically dissolves the decals? I'd much rather spend that $200 on something else

Rapid Remover Adhesive Remover? I think it's just like taking off emblems. Heat them up, remove, and spray the adhesive remover? You can always try google

This guy used a heat lamp and adhesive remover

Fingernail (since you don't have the special plastic razor blade) then goo gone. Done it this way on thousands of different decals.

3m Woodgrain and Stripe Remover. Spray it over them, wait a min, and they slide right off after that. No scratching away with fingernails and easy clean up too.
