The tab holding the switch panel housing (driver side) broke off and doesn't stay in so I bought a new one to replace it. I had no trouble removing the switch panel housing from the door panel but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the dual side mirror control switch out of the switch panel housing. It's got two tabs that can be pushed in on the top and right side but on the left and bottom it's got two small nubs that prevent me from removing it. There's got to be something simple that I'm missing; I can't believe how much !@#$%&* time I've spent on what should've taken 5 minutes...any help is much appreciated!!!

For reference:

Pain in the ass, isn't it? Give me a day or so and I'll look up some of the info and hopefully help you with this. I'm just doing my late night post reads and don't have it in me to look up this stuff right now. If I forget you and you don't get an answer, PM me to remind me. I'll get the answer for you.

Squeezing those tabs together doesn't let it slide out?

Got it out! I pushed down HARD with flat head screwdriver into each of the nubs with the tabs pushed in and it came right out. Now if only I can figure out how to get the door panel switch housing back into the door panel...
