i cut up my hand doing this.... you need to slide a thin peice of metal where the metal bar comes out (the one that supports the headrest). slide it between the front of the seat and that bar... i used a pci expansion cover that i had lying around (computer part)... sliced my hand, but got the damn thing off... it took patience to get the latch in there.
1 Get a metal coat hanger and strech it out,
2 lift up the head rest as high as it will go and slide the coat hanger down the center
as far as it will go
3 slide down the head rest and coat hanger at the same time
4 raise the head rest up and out
***3 mins top for both seats and no cut up hands***
