how to remove last tranny bolt

how did you guys remove the top pass side bolt on the tranny? im replacing the clutch and i dont see how this thing is coming off, it looks like the firewall is too close to allow a wrench even if the entire intake wasnt in the way. any suggestions?

are you talking about the bolts on the top of the bellhousing??? if so i just used a long extension with a swivel on it. if your talking about the bolt on the tranny to the bellhousing once again i just used a long extension

Again, like was stated a three foot extension with a swivel socket or universal joint with appropriate sized socket is exactly what the doctor ordered in this instance. Some find it easier to remove the tranny from the bellhousing. Ive done it both ways.

try to lower the back of the tranny a bit too. make sure it's well supported

Yup you need swivels and extensions. It will come out, Ive done it few times

That's what I used... worked like a charm.

I used a swivel socket and looong extension with an impact.
