My tail pipes arent welded on to the mufflers but clamped on. I removed the clamp but the pipe doesnt want to turn... How can I breat it loose? Also, how do you get the hanger out of the rubber piece?
I beleive you gotta heat em up almost red and use a big adjustable plyers (dont know the real name for em) and turn em back and forth until theyre out.
To get the hangers off, lube it up if you have to and use a big screwdriver to pry it out.
I'm taking them off to try some dumps my friend made for me to see if I like the sound better or not. If I dont then I'll put them back on after I clean them up some.
The dumps will make them louder, no doubt. Yeah, try some WD40 on the hangers. That should do it. Try WD40 on the tailpipes first, then try turning the pipes. Don't try to pull on them until you can turn them easily. That should break free the exhaust grunge.

I got them where everything could turn freely but they keep hitting the rear axle and didnt feel like unbolting the muffler and everything from my h-pipe today because I'll have to be heading off to work soon.
I love how dumps sound but don't know if I'll be able to stand it everyday so thats why I wanted to try it out first and if it gets anoying then just take them off and stick the tail pipes back on.
