I got a replacement turn signal lever on ebay to replace the broken one in my wife's '86 GT.

Problem is, I can't see how to remove the old one without breaking something.

Does anyone know how to remove it?

Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the stalk or the multi-function switch?

The stalk just pulls off the splined shaft in the multi-function switch. The new stalk pushes on.

The multi-function switch is attached to the steering column with fasteners. The steering column trim has to be removed to gain access to the fasteners, and the harness.

How did you do it? My lever is snapped or something at the base and I need to figure how to resolve it. Any info would be awesome.
