i did some searching on google with no luck.. today i finally got my car back from the tranny shop, while there i went over to o'reilys and picked up a new universal knob.

so, how the hell do i get the stock one off? Tried twisting, tried pulling on it a bit.. doesnt seem to budge.

do i just pry it off with something?

It should unscrew like any other shift knob, remember righty tighty, lefty loosey, if not look for any hidden set screws and look at how the new knob goes on
