In 1, the car holds first gear.
In D, the car holds second gear. If started from a dead stop in D, the car will shift from first to second, but hold second.
In OD the car drives like normal and under WOT will hold third.
This is all on the stock shifter. The car shifts pretty dang hard, but it could still be tightened up.
Apparently there was an aftermarket shifter in there at one point also. (Or so the previous owner says, he didnt know much about cars)
