You can probably take most of them. I drive a '00 V6 Saleen replica and know it's not a fast car and don't mind it at all. I would race a ricer and if they win and give me crap about it I know my car looks better anyway..and then I'll bust out the '67 and beat them by an embarrasing margin.

Thefts for si's, integras, and rsxs are higher than ever. And you will be suprised how many civics have motor swaps in them now. I sold my stang because my exhaust just attracted too much attention and got into all sorts of trouble. Now i have a 97 civic coupe w/a gsr swap with bolt ons but with no exhaust.

I have come to the dark side now integraholic. And i have to say that i really do enjoy it. Just the lay out of the car and the feel of it does feel more like a sports car than my six. My car has no power steering just like you, but it isnt too bad.

Strange.. that's what the people on the J body forum tell me about my base model stock automatic 2004 Cavalier sedan (15.9-16.2 in the 1/4). I didn't buy it for anything other than economy and low priced transportation.

not gonna guess an auto cavalier will run those times on a normal basis... i saw a kid who went to my high school at the track run a 16.4 in a 5spd z24(99 i think same body style maybe newer). and i think stock to stock its a drivers race w/ the rsx-s the s might have an egde tho. i ran a 16.01 stock(yeah i know not great for a manual 6) to type s's 15.5 it was six speed and had a CAI. cant wait to be home and take it to the track again next summer w/ new mods and new nitto 555's

Go rent an automatic cavalier. It will surprise the hell out of you. Without brake torquing you can get rubber from a dead stop everytime, I have never seen an AUTOMTIC naturally aspirated 4cyl car do that.

I had no plans to buy one, but it was the best new econmy car I test drove (I needed an econobox, I am buying a home and don't want high car payments and I need economical wheels).

Another strange thing is that my Cavalier is faster than my 1990 Ford Probe V6 5-speed. Go figure.

I know.. I know... I wouldn't believe it either had I of not experienced it.
