i am in the process of putting togehter a single turbo setup on my 90 vert and i was wondreing if i was to put all the stuff on but the turbo , if it would still run good or should i wait and do it all at one time, i am wanting to put on a 70 or 75mm tbody, 75 or 80maf billet and some 42 or 50lb injectors,

jus wodering if it will run good with that stuff on without the turbo or not,

thanks

well that would be pretty hard to get into the 10s if your talkin 1/4 mile times...your car bein a vert means that u have a decent amount of extra weight to deal with....to get into the 10s in the 1/4 with nitrous your goin to need a very well built motor, drivetrain, and suspension. i really doubt u r goin to make the tens with the turbo either though unless you really put some $$$ into the car...if i were u i would go ahead and buy the mass air, t.b. etc and keep your stock injectors and install all of that now and then just have the mass air reprogramed when u install the bigger injectors...u could also add a 75-100hp nitrous kit ...

13.9...with a stock vert? no offense, sounds fishy....

with nitrous on your stock motor a 100 shot might put you in the high 12's. but its not as easy as just slapping a kit in your car. you need other components (FPR, fuel pump, colder plugs, etc.)

a turbo kit depending on what type and boost you run on a stock motor. i could see mid 12's in your future with a good tune and a PMS and fuel upgrades

you aint gonna go nowhere though with stock suspension

why dose 13.9 sound fishy for a vert i have time slips to prove it and i pulled 2.0 60ft in it on street tires i didnt say it was all stock i just said that the intake, tbody, maf , injectors and air intakeis all stock

give us more details on the motor.....what kind of heads, intake manifold? injectors? mass air?

my set up in my signature ran me 12.80-12.90's when i had an AOD with a 2800 stall. now i have a t-5..i should be mid 12's now
