A good CAI will get you a tenth and 1mph. Most of us just make our own. The best way to make one is to make it a completely straight shot from the TB to the MAF and filter with no turns or bends. I'd stay away from the mac/bbk chrome style ones since they put a bend right before the MAF which can cause air flow issues within the MAF and this could lead to some problems, especially in a 94-95 car that rely heavily on MAF voltage to determine load which is used in just about every fuel and spark table in the EEC.

Adding an edelbrock performer intake, 65mm TB, and headers dropped me from a 14.6 at 94.89mph to a 14.3 at 97.2 on street tires. Adding my own homemade CAI (straight tube) and nittos dropped me to a 13.8 at 98.55mph. Stock my 5 speed 'vert ran a 15.2 at 90mph.

I'm gonna throw in with Paul on the cai info

When I still had the stock E7's with a bolt on or two I rigged up a home made cai form 3inch pvc pipe and plumbing coulpers.

It made a difference I could feel for sure & the cost is cheap

My 60ft on the 1st run was a 2.284 and 60ft on the 2nd run was 2.300.

What should I be shooting for 60ft-wise on radials? I'll have to practice launching w/out spinning! I could hear it spinning a good deal both times off the line.

Also, will some UCA & LCA's help me stick to the track better? I definately be smart about suspension parts so that I keep all the HP I add in the future usable.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
