That is part of a brand new power "adder" (snake pun, snake pun) gone wrong.
Put your power adder under the hood to scare the bejeesus out of the hamsters to make them run faster.
Guess he didnt get the tuning done correctly though.

The correct answer to that is, the poor owner of the "I"VTEC...cause "I" didn't see much in the very mini van(civic) I drove.freakintiger said:I don't know who to feel sorrier for, the snake or the guy who has to clean this up!

That must have been the most horrible noise when he first cranked that engine over without knowing the snake was under there.
And can you imagine the look on his face when he opened the hood?

Same thing happened to me with a cat. First I had to fight it's claws and teeth to get it out from under the hood after it's leg was torn off, then chase it down and shoot it (couldn't let it suffer), then come back and remove a leg, fur, chunks of flesh and various liquids.
Then the next day explain to the next door neighbor exactly why I was laying on the ground next to his truck with my rifle shooting at something under the truck when he stuck his head out the window at 11 pm.
