How'd you program your extra remote?

Just bought a new keyless entry remote off eBay for my 97 GT. Gonna try to program it myself when I get home.

How?

Any help is appreciated, just let me know what I need to do. Thanks!

It's real easy. I have a 98' Vert, but I'm sure your set up is the same. In the trunk on the left side pull back the trunk lining. You'll see a black box that's the brain so to speak. You'll need a paperclip to push in the little learn button. Push the button in for second then click your lock button. Click it again and you should be set. Test all the buttons before you button the lining back up. Be careful you don't break any of the snaps. The one that covers the light I think screws in.
