Hello Guys/Gals!
New here, and with my 2nd mustang ever! I bought this latest mustang about 1 year ago, and haven't touched it (really) yet.
It is an 85 GT with T-Tops... floors are MINT, body is MINT and has almost no rust ANYWHERE!! The car has prolly been a drag car since the early 90s, it has an 8pt roll cage, and I bought it without a motor.
I am dropping a 2.3T into it this spring, and will be shooting for the low 12's this year, and next year hoping to be in the 10s!!
I will post some new pictures once I get some... only have the ones of when i bought it (yeah, I have been lazy). I have attached the only pic I have of it here at work, will do the rest later when I get home.
Things i have gathered so far:
newer/better doors from 86 Capri (no power)
complete set of 85/86 GT seats
proper door panels
AEM Wideband
2.3T with T5wc from 87 Turbocoupe (with pedal assembly for hydraulic clutch)
Things still (possibly) looking for:
Megasquirt
Fuel cell(s) (for running duel fuels.. racegas and 94octane street gas)
Rear located battery
3" full exhaust
narrowed 10hole fronts
s/s brake lines, with braided flex lines
Can't think of anything else at the moment, but I am sure there will be TONNES when I go to put it all together finally
