Howling Intake /Throttle body

So I have this howling noise coming from my K&N cold air intake and when I remove the hose it is still coming from the throttle body area. Im not sure what this is and it only happens when at idle and sounds weird when I turn the car off. Does anybody have a clue what this might be? I am also having a problem with a high and hanging idle, the car will come down and hang at 1600 rpms or so then drop only down to 1200 for idle. I am getting problem after problem with my cobra could someone please give me a hand?

Some aftermarket throttle bodies are prone to whistle.

What brand do you have?

Sounds like a potential vacuum leak. Fix the leak and both problems might go away.

I thought my throttle by screamed too. Turned out it was a leak where it met the intake. When I put the street heat on there and re-installed the throttle body, no scream.
