HP question

I've got a few of those parts I pulled off my Corolla if you're interested....pm me.

You will probably come close to beating a Civic with those parts. It should be a real tight race if you put the enclosed stickers on your car. Don't forget to paint the white strip across the top of your windshield.

Are you interested in an engine swap? I'd be willing to barter on the engine from Corolla. Its putting down a solid 97rwhp with 325hp at the crank. I think I'm losing some power with the marble driveshaft....but it sho looks tyte. I think with this 'Rolla engine in your car, you'd not only be beating on the Civics, but you'd probably be able to grab some Integra's, Accords, Ludes, and possible a Celica or two depending on if they have the optional wing.

After much consideration I believe I will purchase the Corolla motaw. I hope to get my IRS check in real soon then I will mail you my quarter collection as a payment. '

Truth is I must beat this eclipse from the fast N furious my buddy has, its very very fast. the wing is scaring the horses
out of my little 4.6 so im ready for a bigger displacement engine. 1 question will i have to switch headers to fit on the rowla engine.

Will post pics of my rival when i wake up. .............runs off

I think it would be a good choice. How about we just swap the 4.6 for my Rolla motaw? Even swap? I don't think you'd ahve to switch headers. But you will only have to use one. You could probably get some good bling off the other one on Ebay or something. I'm not sure if your current header will bolt right on, or if you'll have to use a bit of JB Weld and high heat silicone caulk to get a tight seal on that. Don't want no exhaust leaks.

Another option.....I can sell you my HO 1.6 Litah motaw for $3k. You can then put it in the trunk and do some cutomization and have two motaws. A little fab work and you can have the 4.6 driving your front wheels and the 1.6 driving the rear. That should be enough horses to beat that damn Eclipse.

Or link the two motors in serial. Fab it up where the driveshaft from the 4.6 connects directly to the crank of the 1.6. Surely that would provide crazy powah out of the 1.6 right? Might have to play around with the timing for a bit, but once you get the timing and ignition sequences down, you're golden. I think there's a free software tuning program out there for this very purpose.

Dammit....I can't believe I've overlooked another option for you. I was just reading on the 'Rolla forums about this great idea. Its pure ****ing genius mang. Use the 1.6 'Rolla motaw for boost! Who needs a turbo or s/c. Run the motor in the trunk and route the exhaust straight to the intake of your 4.6. You may not see the same power as you would with a 2.2 KB....but it'd still be mad tyte yo. And if you hook up a wastegate and blow-off....imagine the sound you'll get when the excess pressure blows off.
