HP/TQ gain from Bullitt intake?

Thanks everyone. I'm still interested in the Bullitt intake, because the fact that it affects the entire range is very important to me. About the whole porting/boring deal, I saw a 'Stage 2 Ported & Polished Bullitt Intake' ( http://modularfordpowerhouse.com/proddetail.php?prod=bullitstage2 ) and I was wondering how much of an advantage the P&P would be over the stock Bullitt intake if I'm running Stage II P&P P.I. heads. BTW, I'm NOT paying $1400 for it either....I'm getting just the plain intake ($800), a great deal on the install, and a great deal on the porting and polishing for both this and the heads. Thanks again.

I dynoed right after an 01 GT with a bullit intake and similar mods...bassani x-pipe, weld in flows, CAI. He pulled 242 peak horsepower. My results are in my signature. Again, that's peak horsepower and I don't know how much higher his average horsepower was. On a basically stock mustang I suspect there wouldn't be much in the way of power increases, but if you plan on porting and doing work on the motor, my guess is that you'd see a bigger horespower and torque increase for every mod down the line. You may change your mind on the supercharger/nitrous/turbo mod down the line. I'd planned on staying NA, but am now saving for the Kenne Bell kit. If I went w/ any other power adder, I'd use the bullit intake as the plastic stock seems pretty crappy.

I thought about the bullit intake and i know the gains with power adders are huge but i went with accufab plenum and throttle body mac cold air and granettelli maf and i am putting out 266hp and 291tq along with steeda pulllies and t/a so you can use that extra cash to get other stuff that might add up to more hp and tq
