Hp/tq increase question

i was wondering if there is a way to calculate hp/tq gains by mods
for example, i'm getting a set of mac equal length with an off road h and mac mufflers, i kinda want to know what hp/tq will be getting out of these on a stock 302
and another question, what #'s will i be looking at if i switch to carb, and put 4.10's....

This is not necessarily true, just throwing a carb on it will not increase power if it is not matched well with the rest of the engine combo.

As for your questions, there is no magic formula to calculate horsepower and torque. Throwing the new exhaust on there may free up some high end horsepower but may also cause you to lose some low end torque. As for the rear gears, these should cause an increase in the Seat of the Pants (SOTP) rating. What I mean by that is that you may not be any faster, but you will notice a difference in how the car accelerates and it should make it more fun to play with.
