hts coated mac exhaust

does anyone know if the hts coating on the new model mac exhaust is more rust resistant?

i found one thread that mentioned that the hts is rust resistant...i just wanted to verify before i decide to buy them.

pay little more and get JBA headers. I heard so many complain about fitting and quality issues ... some said not worth it. JBA headers are expensive but it will last long time without any problems.

I dunno about on V6s, but I know that on my 5.0 is sure sucks to attempt to fit MAC on there. Alignment issues.

Yes, the new black HTS coating that they are putting on is supposed to be higher temp and better rust resistant that the current grey.

Yes, they have had fitment issues, but I think that they are better now.

I think one fitment issue was the header hitting the driver's side K-member, and the fix is to grind or cut some of the K-member. I also think that the passenger side hit the floor pan somewhere - the fix - a sledge hammer to the floor pan.

Hopefully, MAC has been a little more vigilent in thier quality control for fitment issues as of late.
