This morning while driving my 91 GT into work I started hearing a strange humming noise that would get more high pitched the faster I would get after 35mph. It was not RPM dependent and is not coming from the motor. I do have a jacked up speedometer (needle all over the place, ticking, etc.) but I don't think it was coming from there (I use an iphone for speedometer currently).
So my noob question for the day, does this sound like a front wheel bearing or something else? I drive ~30 miles to work and can avoid the freeway which I did this morning.
