hey there is this humming noise coming from the passenger front tire. It does not make the noise except when driving. I thought maybe it was the brake catching but I took the tire off and nothing seemed to be wrong. Some one said maybe it could be a wheel bearing. Any thoughts
i agree with KT raise the car up and hold the wheel in the 12 ad o'clock position and move the wheel back and forth if any movement can be felt its your wheel bearing
wheel bearing is possible. rub your hand across the tread section of the tire and see if there is uneven wear. a cupped tire will cause a humming noise also
